Circa 1983, on a 1974 Honda CB400 four. Mid winter, 6.30 am hopped on to go to work. 1st corner is 100 metres from the house. Cranked it over, hit ice mid turn! First the knee, then the elbow, then the shoulder. It was at this point that I realised I had crashed and let go of the bars!
real knee down though........mmmmm I wasn't sure if I remembered, but it just came to me.
Circa 1993, Mallala raceway SA. riding my brand new FZR600 with Michelin A and M 59's, turn 2. I was wearing walden Miller leathers, which had no knee sliders. Came in after that session and had worn a hole through my leathers, through the foam padding underneath (they never had armour back then) AND worn a hole in my knee!!!

There was blood pissing out!!

but I was having so much fun I didn't notice till the adrenalin settled and the buring sensation started to be felt!!!!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
