this rim tape was a roll, not the quarter sections like most you get. it came with a tool to apply it around the rim. the tool follows the rim around well but i did have trouble when i came to the weights that balance the wheel. as a bonus it looks like i've got a tool that will apply 7.5mm pinstripe to a rim. and you can buy pinstripe lengths long enough to do motorbike rims for only a few dollars at the likes of autobarn, supercheap and so on.

Hmm OK so you just used straight tape, was there a problem curving it, did it fold at any stage?

So....without having to read all the way back through....have you decided if you are going to rim tape yet? If it's a yes, I can imagine Tape must be happy too!!! :kuda:

I probably will, but he has to wax first, and I'll be expecting a reach around :kuda:.

Thought id chuck up my opinion here, and its another excuse to post a pic of my z

I say yes! Green on Green would look sweet, heres mine with orange reflective on a black bike, i think it looks good as it matches my orange Z and the Orange Stripe on my jacket, subtle cues to orange but i think they all work together.
