Yes Rob it's true. I admit it. I've owned three Suzuki's. Oh the shame.

It's not that photo though Tim. I'm pretty sure I have another......I'll go looking on the weekend.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Coming from you Rob I call that a big endorsement for my 2nd bike. :) Z750

Hey Quirks, the RTA in nsw can let us know who can do those inspections, so I would be surprised if QLD Roads and Traffic couldn't do the same for you.

On my riding/bike side, I've done 200+ks in 2 days.!!!!!!!

What I've done so far:

Somewhere between 200 and 300kms in 3 days around blacktown/hills district/rouse hill.

Involving:
Few hours of Industrial areas and local backstreets getting the real basics down. (seven hills/norwest/northmead/quakers hill.
A couple of hours of car park work (braking/turning/dropping off gutters/hill starts/circles etc)
Some repetitive corner practice in industrial areas, looking up the road, trying to use peripheral vision.
3 night rides
Plenty of traffic
2 rides worth of VERY wind riding(so strong today out at Rouse Hill). Scared the shit out of me to start with, I had no idea it was that intense on a bike...... they were bordering on gail strength today.
As a result i can say I'm pretty confident now with the basics, but I know I need to work more on lots still, and stay vigilant and focused every minute of my rides.
8)
AND REMEMBER TO TURN THE BLINKER OFF!
:?
Won't do The Old Road yet, I've well and truly used up my $10, and I've gotta go back to work and commute all this week so I need to have a rest sunday.

Tim.

ps, ran out of fuel because switch was on RES. :) Trap for young players.

Had another small mishap tonight, one more lesson learned.

Doing 80 with my brother in law in his car behind me.
Scratched my back with my right hand, put my hand back on the throttle and the bike dies.
Try to restart while rolling, won't start. Then I assume I've put the side stand down..... check while rolling, still up won't start.
Pull over on a bridge, no curb, my brother in law pulls up behind me.
Then it clicks and I realise i've hit the kill-switch when my hand came back to the throttle.

Give him the thumbs-up, and we're off.

Then i proudly parked it successfully in cafe-central church st parra next to 2 other bikes, an R6 and something else, and realise my bike looks rather old-school from the front.

One of my mates greets me and says "Ahh so you got a cruiser"........ "IT'S NOT A CRUISER!"

Gah! :x

Rob that list of yours counts something like:

11 suzuki
8 kawasaki
5 yamaha
4 ducati
2 bmw
1 aprillia
1 honda

Seems your scales are low on the spuzuki side. If you list is chronological then the last ones are all kwakas then and that's what really counts...... no?

You got nothing better to do than work out my statistics  new_rofl.gif laughing4.gif get a life man  .
The Kawasaki thing started with the Z1R which was also the first motor I ever stripped, it just took me many years to realise that K was the best... all the others were just basically just long test rides
