Anyone know of a excellent bike carrier that can transport a bike from Geelong to Central QLD?

Re: Bike Transport Carrier
I purchased a bike in Brisbane last week and getting it transported to Melbourne. I ended up spending a week trying to find a well price bike transporter. Ended up settling on Ceva Logistics. By far the cheapest. Most places were quoting me $500+ to transport from Brisbane to Melbourne. Ceva ended up doing it for $260.
Give them a try: http://cevamotorcycletransport.com.au/quickquote.html

Guys with the transport the cheapest is not necessarily the best or safest, you have to remember you get what you pay for & after you have forked out your hard earned cash on your bike & paid upfront for the transport, the last thing you want is an operator that lets you down, remember chances are its not the person that you book with that ends up delivering your pride & joy. Things to ask for...... their insurance coverage & what you are covered for? how many drivers they have? how often they do the route your bike is about to take? how accurate is their quoted pick up & delivery times? & the list goes on but I am sure you get my drift. + ask for refrences if they have anyross79 wrote:Ended up settling on Ceva Logistics. My pick of the bunch at the moment is http://www.biketrans.com.au

True, but the company regularly transport exotics so I figure it's worth a try, especially with the saving. I'll let you know more once the bike arrives.

Re: Bike Transport Carrier
We have used Allwest Motorcycle Carriers a couple of times, and have been very happy wth their price and service. They transport from door to door, rather than depot to depot, which means you don't have to gin about getting the bike too and from somewhere (usually inconvenient).
Cheers,

Re: Bike Transport Carrier
One thing worth looking into is whether or not the bike carrier transports the bike the whole way. Daren (Aussie Ninja) bought a Crim for WA and used a bike courier company to get it over here, and they used some other general transport company to get it to Sydney before they put it in their trailer for the trip to Canberra, and it was trashed on the way across the Nullabour.

Re: Bike Transport Carrier
Picked up bike from Ceva Depot this morning. No issues what so ever. Really great to deal with and bike arrived in the same condition it left Brisbane.
I'd recommend them to anyone.
