Zed's Rearsets

Post by 67-FKD »

Hey guys, does anyone know if these are painted, or jsut normal alloy, after washign my bike today it appears there is a small crack going down the folds of the metal.

Is it somethign to be concerned about? and is a replacement easy enough to find?

Nope, nothing painted on the rear sets. Ouch if they have a crack, might be time to replace!

Think I can make out the crack ..... does it open when pressure is applied to the footrest? if so it will need to go :?
If it is cracked METROS have wrecked one that I know of ;)

Suggest do the ring around interstate as being a small part the freight from a wrecker will be cheap &
you can probly still use the existing rearset, but carefully....... now that you know there is a problem.
