GPX model Query

Post by corvus2606 »

I have a GPX250 and have been told that it can be known by multiple model numbers, including EX250 ninja.

Not sure how true this is, maybe you guys could shed some light?

its an ex250 with varying numbers and letters after depending on year of production (the new ninja 250 is EX250J8F)... the bike was known as the ninja 250 in the US for its entire life... so if u ever see parts for a 2007 or earlier ninja 250 then that is your bike...

dont forget some of the mechanicals will be transferable with the ZZR too ... mostly engine parts i believe

Kawasaki use a sorta different system for their bikes

you have marketing names...GPX250 and also model/product names...EX250
the GPx750R is known as the ZX750F with the later ZXR750 as for example ZX750H

can be a bit confoosing

I know its a bit of a noobish question, buit its better to be sure, especially if i start ordering parts online, where they never list gpx, always ex.
