Here's my advice..
Go buy a set of Pilot Power.. Awesome tyre, and no reason in teh world why you couldn't get a couple of track days out of them.. Best tyre i've had on my zx6r, so I found out after yesterdays ride, and Mario swears by them on his too.
Don't stuff around with race tyres until you've atleast done a track day and advanced a couple of groups up from slow.. Tyre heat is too crutial, you're best to get some track experience first IMO..

for the time being i'm gonna grab the 012ss and keep them until i can get the pilots as i dont wanna be off the bike until feb. Chrissy money hangover.
might keep the 012ss as track tyres and use the pilots as road or vise versa. Like dan said i'll do a couple of track day and see which suits, as for moving up classes i'll try my best.
