welcome 1000, good to see a bit of DIY in a day full of laziness.

let me know if you need a hand fixing her up.
i'll dontate a carton of beer to the day. 8)

nothing like drinkin beer and puttin in the hard yard to fix a bike. the biggest reward is seeing the owners face when he comes back after taking it for a test ride! priceless!

Just so I understand the situation here.........you picked up the bike from the dealer with your trailer and unwisely ignored the advice from the know it all salesman regarding the use of tie downs, then you proceeded to drive home in the hope that the bike would simply stay upright on it's own accord?? And now your worried about how it will affect your warranty?? LOL you, my friend are in IDIOT!

I know a guy who can mount a fender eliminator for you, compared to the state the bike is in now it will probably end up being a tip top job...

Oh, and HTFU and lean the farcker.

I actually wasted my money on two sets of the most expensive tie downs in the shop.

What a waste.

If I only I knew then what I know now, I would have bought a few slabs of imported beer.

The identity of the owner is in the Ute towing the trailer. And there's a fair chance the guys name is either Mick or Dave

Dude, you should speak to Kawasaki Australia immediately, not the dealer. This is obviously a case of a faulty stand. After all, you had the bike on the stand, and it failed to keep the bike upright!
Stop wasting time with the dealer you purchased it at! Cut out the middleman and speak directly with the manufacturer. I've heard they are *really* customer service oriented, respond quickly to queries and want to make each customer satisfied and happy.

And once you've got the faulty stand situation sorted and your replacement bike is on the way, maybe mention how slack and unhelpful the dealer was during all of this.

Good luck - and keep us updated!
