Race schools
ok i have been looking into this to get more confdence and experience on the track and have someone tell me what im doing right/wrong and try and build on my technique
so has anyone done a school with the California Superbike School or Circuit Breakers Race School?
just looking for some feedback as the CSS is $400 and CBRS is $265 so there is a bit of difference so im just wondering if anyone has attended one of these and thier thoughts?
cheers guys, Tim

Re: Race schools
Hey Tim,
You're comparing apples and oranges, and some people will be along soon to tell you that the CSS is a waste of money (which it may be, particularly if you already know everything
), but .... have a read of this for a summary of the CSS. I thought it was money well spent and will be doing level 2 later in the year.
From what I've heard the CB race school is far less generic and is really designed to teach you the fastest way to get around EC.

Re: Race schools
i did race school, and it was somewhat beneficial. but it is what you make of it.
i think you need to hassle the Pros to get the most out of it. the css seems a bit more 1 on 1 so to speak.

Re: Race schools
Having done both CSS is definitely better. This is largely because they are working to a set format, effectively from a text book that was written many years ago and has been updated over the years.
Of course this text book is twist of the wrist, the guy (Keith Code) who wrote is a bit of a nutter but knows his shit, as he taken motor cycle riding and broken it down into simple steps, just one at a time to allow you to realise what you are being taught does work.
When I did level 1 Keith code and his son were at EC for the school to celebrate so many years in Australia or something like that. Anyway I followed his son on one of the tip in drills (he wasn't my instructor but I followed him anyway) I have never seen a person be able to get their bike layed over as quickly as him, I kid you not he could get a bike tipped over in heart beat. They put turn in indicators on the track and he could go several metres past them and still hug the apex.
Do it as it will change the way you ride. I am planning on doing level 2 later on the year.
