Quick question for youse - I know some of the Sydney Crew frequent Windsor for drinking sessions on a regular basis, so may be somewhat familiar with the area!
Anyway... looking for pub type accommodation - Windsor sounds as good as anywhere, any recommendations?

When in Windsor I have always stayed at Casa Del Kaw, good beer plenty of bourbon, reasonable accom and a good BBQ dinner.

Thanks EC
What am I supposed to do with the 4 or 5 mates I'll have along with me? Or are there enough carnies to go around out there? I wouldn't wanna share!

G'day Mel - just across the road from the Macquarie Arms pub is the Windsor Terrace Motel.
And I'm sure Frank would pick up your group to be at the WGM !!!!

Sleep @ The Arms, it is a hotel after all
As maniac said the motel just down the road from The Arms is OK but as Frank said, a tent out the back of the Castle could be more fun.
Are the friends male or female? Makes a big difference in Windsor drinking establishments!
There is also a half decent Motel about 5ks out of Winsor towards Parra next to the Vinyard Hotel, cheap and clean by all accounts.

Thanks for the links MK and for the suggestions... yes even yours Red Dave
The motels were booked out so we're off to Richmond instead... if anyone is in the area and feels like some drinkies on Sunday night we'll be at the Richmond Inn... and we'll be heading off to Oran Park on Monday morning to check out the action, so might see some of youse out there as well!
