not sure about that......one of the local boys on a track day a couple of weeks ago had a brand-new set of these fitted to his 08 ZX10R......they were fucked within 3 sessions, from cold-tearing.......you shoulda seen them
3 sessions .
Should last me at least 10k then .
Wonder why they are selling them as the 20% track and 80% road and the best thing for road riders in a very long time (AMCN Vol 57 No 18). Bastards. Maybe 3 sessions is more than 20% .
Actually I thought he had Corsa 3's on there Gos...whatever they were, they were definitely rooted
Yeah i find this out also not that long ago!
Apprently Michelin havent had a price increase since 2004, then on May 1st they went up about $50 for front and rear!
I paid a bit under $500 for a set of bridgies for the 12R, 016 front and 015 rear (190).
Next time I'll go the 012's again (or equivalent)... these are stickier but the 012 is more progressive on traction... the new ones are a bit grabby when traction is on/off... also I've done about 700km very gentle km on them and the rear is already starting to look a bit light on for tread.

Chivo's used to be the only place I went for tyres back in the day.....ahhhh Pirelli Phantoms and Avon Road Runners now they were tyres
I might give them a try for old times sake...and check out Bikebiz Kwaka while I'm there (just up the road a bit)

They 're a really good road tyre. I had them on my track bike for a while and they were awesome apart from a slow turn in because of the carcass shape, which is why I reckon they would rock for the road. Not much in the way of rain dispersing, but i don't ride in the rain so wgaf.
