Nice work Gos.

You need a seat man. Didn't your mother tell you about piles...........
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

looks good on the track... only maybe it needs a smaller jockey perhaps??? ;)

just go get urself some foan from clark rubber and cut it to shape... i think thats in keeping with the "tough" looking nature of the the bike

but nice work gos, could christen is the "toe grinder" toe cutters evil relative
 like the *Toe Grinder*.....and you should have seen it with the 19" wheel fitted !! FMD it looked like a fuckin' Penny Farthing FFS    - steered *OK* with the 18", but will be way better with the 17" and some slicks. The ZX12R rearests work great, and I am seriously considering leaving the *seat* as it is.....maybe some high-density grey foam would be the go for any time on the OP circuit, but for EC and Wakefield......I don't spend enough time on the straights anyway .....  for a sore arse to be a problem..... ;)

thanks everyone for all the positive comments. I am really happy that it is actually *running*, and even in these early stages, it shows a bit of promise for a home-made special......once I get the jetting sorted, and a better throttle, it should be able to do some reasonable times........

*In Late Breaking News*......There is the possibility that our local Canberra forum, CanberraRIDERS, will be coming up to Sydney on the Queens Birthday weekend, for another track-day at Oran Park GP circuit. If this is confirmed, I will post the day up here in a seperate thread. It would be great to get some laps in at the GP circuit.....stay tuned for details.

When does the old duck have her birfdy? I'm keen to do a couple of OP days before they close the place so if you end up coming post up and I'll be there.

Yes indeeedly - Monday 9th June to be exact.

I am waiting on confirmation from Sprinter (Neil - cR and PCRA), who is organising the gig through Jamie Spence.

Will bung up a seperate thread if this date is a goer - anyone who is considering doing some laps of Oran Park GP circuit before it closes for good (soon), should have a bash. Its a great circuit !!

Any idea when it actually closes ?

A colleague at work is heavily involved with a car club and tells me they have a confirmed booking for easter next year, I thought it would be well and truely closed by then.
