I have a job, a fairly busy and very important one (well I tell myself that), the same as anyone else on here and I don't have a lot of time to get onto KSRC, so I try and make the most of the time I have . To do this I use the View new posts facility. When people are posting "reasonably" for a day there is usually 1 or maybe 1.5 pages of reasonable quality interesting posts. However, when someone is posting to every thread there are now at least two full pages and sometimes three, heaven forbid after a weekend I don't even look any more as it's like picking flyshit out of pepper.
For the last few weeks I couldn't be stuffed going through all of them so I have a look at the first page, get the shits at some of the less purposeful posts and bugger off and go and do my very busy and important job. Now from my employers perspective this is probably a good thing and in the eyes of some people on the forum this is probably a good thing
(you know who you are, bastards), but I'm sure there are many other regular members who fall into the same boat and will get the shits and stop posting good stuff, or miss good stuff, fall out of touch and disappear from the forum. You've been here long enough to realise that this is a pretty shit hot place with lots of smart people who can help you with stuff or go riding with you or have a beer and a feed with you and that's what makes it good. If the good people piss off though we're left with a lesser thing and that's bad
I know you're keen and that's good but before you hit the submit button just ask yourself whether your post adds value, takes the piss ( in a way in which others will find amusing) or is just designed to up your post count. If it's the latter than fight the urge man, fight it........
