Rave: Luke from Spare Parts @ Team Moto Parramatta Kawasaki

Post by dave#3 »

I've been critical of Team Moto previously, and I'm not suggesting it wasn't sometimes deserved, but I've got to give a big shout-out to Luke in spare parts at TM Parramatta. The fuel pump relay in my tracky died at OP on Monday and, with a trackday at EC tomorrow, I needed a new one ASAP.

One of Luke's colleagues farked up a bit and didn't get my order processed - poor Luke picked up the pieces and went above and beyond to ensure that I got the part on-time and at no extra cost to me. Without going into too much detail, he had one of his apprentices drive out to Kawasaki and collect the parts, and then couriered them to me on a same day service at no extra cost, and above all was a top, easy bloke to deal with during the whole process.

I won't call it humble pie just yet, but I'm happy to say this was a very pleasant experience.

I know the workshop manager there, Garth, he is a top guy also, as well as that, an English guy who used to sell bikes at Actions and who is a good guy also, has just started there. I spoke to him last week. He is off in the U.K. right now, but will be back in two weeks and is worth a chat before you place an order on a new or 2nd hand bike. (He is back in the UK to attend his Dad's funeral. He died in that plane crash in Indonesia recently, poor bugger!!!! :( )

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
