About the only thing I would like to change on it is the tyres, its got Bridgestone Battleax's on it at present, I think the Michelin Pilot Powers on the VFR seem a little nicer on damp road....

Now THAT's more like it.
The 9's a great commuter - I do over 800kms a week on mine.
KINKY NINJA wrote:I took the ZX out for a spin today, just loved it, so quick in comparison to the VFR. About the only thing I would like to change on it is the tyres, its got Bridgestone Battleax's on it at present, I think the Michelin Pilot Powers on the VFR seem a little nicer on damp road....
I just got me a set of Metzeler M3's - they don't notice the water on the road at all, still seem to still like glue. Dunno what they wear like yet, but their wet grip is amazing.

oh - and welcome ;)

G'day again Guys,

WOW!!!

Bung is going to flip when he sees how many of us are over here (Tanya the dark side kinda looks "Green" to me! Oh, and did anyone ever tell you that you look like Catwoman in your riding gear, meooow :D ) .

Anne, I hope to get the spare time to go on a ride with you guys in the near future, its been four weeks straight now without a weekend off, gotta get one soon, thats why I sneak out midweek for rides at present. P.S. My son Jake and I pinched your quote on the bottom of your posts, it is neato!

Ty, I read some good things about Metzeler M3's and ZX9's when I was looking into them on the net, I'd say you're on a winner there from what I've read....

Neka, I was so bent out of the mould all I have to do is add water and I'm as silly as a two bob watch, nothing like being a cheap drunk!

Ok, finally got my camera stuff worked out on the new computer, thought I''d share some pics of my new Kwaka....

The first day I saw "her" all slick and wet at the bike shop....

Ford XB GT bonnet scoops had nothing on this little "sucker" :D

All nice and safe at home

Mmmm......

Mmmm, I wonder if some graphics guy can do me up a set with a little KINKY in that logo some place....

Best Wishes,

Rob.

I guess I should read the entire thread before I request photos....Doh! My bad. Nice looking bike Kinki Ninja (even if I say so myself ;) ) I'm running Pirelli Diablo/Corsa combo's and I have been extremely happy with the stick and the wear (approx 5k so far with maybe 1-2k to go?) I'll only replace the rear (Diablo) and should get another whole one out of the same front.
