zx7r headlight bulbs??? help!!

Post by hutsy »

The bulbs in my '01 zx7r are 12v 45/45w stanleys.I went to get replacements and according to the local dealer and my chassis no. they should be H4's but H4's don't fit and there are no markings on the bulbs to tell me what they are.Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

In your position, I'd just make for the headlight bulb rack at your local auto parts emporium with one of my blown bulbs in hand... or just ask the bloke at the counter.

If it counts for anything, the couple of times I've blown headlight bulbs, the little suburban service station down the end of my street had replacements in stock...

I had the same problem with my old 7.
Just cut off one of the lower pins with a pair of tin snips. Problem solved.
