If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Just a quick update.. docs are assessing her today, they're hoping she'll be stable enough for further tests to look for other injuries.

.
Hopefully people reading this now get an idea that blood donating is farily crucial to peoples well being.. i've personally been a donor for ages and donate every 2 weeks, yeah it's not the most comfortable feeling in the world but if just 1 person is saved by me donating blood then that's great.

This woman needed 30 untis of blood in just the first lot of surgery, that's 5 years blood donating from one person... and this is only 1 person neeeding blood that we hear about.

Don't wanna hijack the thread but blood stocks are always at a critical low and as is the norm in Australia, everyone thinks, she'l be right, someone will donate, well perhaps that someone should be YOU!

Back on topic, glad to hear things are on the improve Sasha although sounds like a long battle awaits alas.

Another update, this is a post by Sasha's sister:

This morning at around 4am Sasha blood was starting to coagluate (sorry for any spelling mistake in this I am living on about 6 hours sleep since Friday morning.) and by this stage has had 120 units of blood since she had arrived at hospital and they put her on plasma. By this afternoon they had taken her off that as well tiny step and a good one.

They have also started to feed her through a tube staight into her stomach and she is digesting that so a nother tiny step. The doctors were looking at giving her a Catscan to see what else could be facing them but have now decided as she is still not stable enough and they do not want to move her.

This evening if they feel Sasha can do it they would like to operate again but only to change the packing in her stomach and to see what else they might be able to find.

I will let you know how Sasha is going tomorrow if not Martin. But once again I can not thank you all enough for all your prayers, whishes, and thoughts.

I would like you all to ride safe where ever you are.
Thank you
Fiorella
