Katya Carroll
born: October 31st, 2006
died: May 9th, 2007

Katya was hit by a car yesterday early afternoon. she had got out of my friend's backyard on the 8th.
she was still alive after the car hit her and ran off...she had a hernia and maybe she could of lived if she was taken to the vet sooner....she would have been hurting, but maybe alive.

she was the cutest thing in this world...so sweet...I know I might sound like a kid saying this, but at least she's in doggy heaven...a free spirit.
I'll miss her terribly, but will never forget her sweet and loving heart.

these are a lot of pics....but she was too cute not to share!!

she was such a snuggler!!! a big lover!! I'm picking up her ashes tomorrow when I go talk to the doctor at the vet office. I think she'd be happy to have her soul set free at one of her favorite parks...or maybe at my dad's land....
I love her as if she were my child. I don't look at them as "pets"...I look at them as more than that....she was so smart...

I just wish she had a twin...a PERFECT matching twin...so I wouldn't hurt so much.
it's like I lost a part of me....I bottle fed that sweet lil girl from day 4....guess that's why I'm in so muh pain...we had that close of a special bond.

she will always be loved, I can say that!!
I wish this was all just a bad dream....but it's reality....and that's what hurts.
Life is not based on the past, but what lies ahead of you...don't let old things keep you down, let what lies in store for you hold your chin up!

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that
pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run
and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and
comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each
miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

No comment Mario... *coughs*

That's really sad. I know what you mean about being attached to your pet.

Are you going to get another puppy soon?
