1969 mach 111

Post by 69MACH3 »

Hi.... I have a 1969 H1 500 Mach3 that I am looking at selling. It's 99% original, only non original part is a rear blinker, never been crashed, 26 years in storage, started up at 10 kicks, what kind of money would I be looking at? For a road worthy needs about $500 spent on it, just parts like plug leads etc that are somewhat perished, to bring it up to sparkling, around $1000, mostly just chrome work/fresh paint job. Engine sounds great, bloody loud tho. Thanks in advance....Barry

Mate I'll take it off your hands for a grand - I will have to spend at least that again to get it up to good nick......... I wish

Seriously - An immaculate Mach III triple can sell for a fair old amount  but as you say, it needs a bit of work to bring it up to *immaculate*....

As a project bike, this baby could be worth anything up to 4 large ?, maybe a bit more - do you have any photos ??

I have always wanted a 500..........and the early ones were the fastest of the lot....

Bazza - Check the 'Classic Kawis Forum' on this site. It has a few good shots of 500 and 750 triples.
