It is the start of day 4 and so far I have managed to not be involved in any homicidal activities. But man it's been close.

Work is the hardest. Can't just go for a ride when I need to. And getting those annoying stupid customers you get sometimes is only making it worse....

ahh yes i feel ur pain..i gave up in feb..then kinda occasionally go off the rails (like i did on the drive home)..then have to quit again...

holidays are gr8 for helping avoid dipshits...

umm everytime u need a bunger have a drink of water mate, it helps a touch...dont eat lollies (cos ull get fat like me)...

Day 9, still no smoke!

It is hard, but I am very happy to be closer to being a non-smoker.

My new years resolutions are:

to ride faster - i want to try get my eastern creek lap times under the half hour mark

Swear less - i have a real potty mouth.

Play guitar more often - and hopefully join a band

sort out a career.

Cheers guys.

Thing with me is if I even have just one drag of a ciggie I will be on them again straight up. So it has to be 100% nothing for me or it won't work, coz I am/was so addicted to the blasted things.

Still feel like one all the time, but as I say if I have to be like this for the rest of my life it will still be better than dying from the things, and I need to be fit to ride faster so it ain't all bad.

yea i kno wot u mean...often i crave one, and u almost gotta find sumthin to do to take ur mind off it...my hands are use to rolling smokes...get urself a pushbike..or sumthin else to distract u..more excercise make u feel better too (the endorphins released are the same as those given off by sex)...

Sorry Neka I could not put riding bikes and sex in the same category :roll: Riding bikes is much better :shock: Anyone who knows me on here and knows that I have four kids under 4 will know that I am joking. :lol:
