read this if you doubt they send tickets after. Then again the guy was a HWP guy in a marked car. Maybe he was going to let it slide and his snr officer said to persue it, i don't know.

hopefully not to ruin your day but years ago i pulled out of the RSL carpark in my car. For some weird reason my tires just seemd to slip on the road and unknown to me my car preceded to do a burnout.....quite a nice one at that.
Anyway,
cop was walking out of the RSL with his mrs and a mate and his mrs. He was off duty and took my plate.
Next day got a visit from the cops with in infringement for reckless handling of a vehicle something like that.
I argued it in a letter and got it waived but still they have powers while off duty which i think is unfair as any cop can spin some bullshit to frame you and in court who is the judge gonna believe your or his little friend officer whatever?

I know what you mean about the court bit cause I took a another fine I had and was not in the wrong and stil lost in court, you see they appsolutly rakin it in, I reckon every one get a piece, I know I m judgemental here but does any one blame me
