27 were caught over the limit...
there was a photo the next day...of all the drivers cars lined
up on the grass on the side of the freeway ...

actually no ... but i wasn't sure if they could go back for 'em once they'd straightened out and then wait for the court case before actually losing the license or not.

How could you not know you hit someone? How drunk would you have to be not to notice? I've gotton pretty drunk in my time but I would have certainly still realised there was an impact...

The courts need to treat every case within the boundaries of the law, but surely this ruling raises the question "Does the law serve in the best interest of the public?'"

yea..the nite i got done they left my bike where it was parked on the side
of the road..one of my mates sat with it...after all the crap they kick u
out the door, i had to walk back to my bike (tho mates were there in the
car)...theoretically i coulda got str8 on the bike & rode it home , tho as i
was so angry, my mates locked my lid in a car sumwhere & kept me from gettin
on my bike..probably a good idea...cops didnt even do a drive by to see if
they could catch me again...
