was wondering what the...

Post by alexpacer »

So I was a bit late to work, and i was a bit rush on hwy, just 100~ 120 cos not many cars around. So when I passed an entry a car cut into my left lane from the entry and speed off nearly scared the crap off me. later on, after some traffic I notice that the car is now behind me and i felt that i've been tailgated cos he was really close to my back.

I speed up a bit, tried to keep a distance but didn't work. By the time I was thinking ... what the hack is he doing.... And I sort of speed up more and try to find some where to move to another lane.

And then i saw a flashing headlight on him and a red-blue light behind his windscreen( i wasn't sure, but i think i was correct). Then I got.....great.....a cop was tailgating me now he tried to pull me over...

I slowed down, move to the stopping lane of the highway, and after all that i saw that disguised cop car keeps driving on and didn't even want to come to me for anyhow.

So I got question marks all over my face all the way to work.....

Anyone have any advice that what was going on? :?:

Vigilante? I met some dork once who thought it was cool to put red and blue flashing lights in his car....

He still thought it was cool when I pointed out that it was a felony charge for imporsonating an officer...........
The world is round. It has no point.

The car was a commodore so i had first impression that it maybe a cop inside. if it's not a cop i'll feel so stupid myself.

Come to think about it, if a cop tailgate me and make me speed, can he issue me a ticket?

Yup afraid so, entrapment is not a let off in Australia, personally I reckon Stereo is on the mark, just a tosser with a spare $5 to plug some lights in the cigarette socket.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

shame you didn't get the rego details, report them to the cops. i say screw em and let the muddaduckers cop it sweet. Police have training so they are less of a risk when doing high speed/risk maneouvers. If its some dick acting like a cop " 'cause he hasn't been busted yet" then i say he should cop the full brunt of it.

Having think of what happened again, makes feel that it is not a cop inside...
i didn't hear siren and i think he turned the flashing light off after he passed me.

should've take a closer look of his plate but by the time i think everyone will think that's a cop... :?

Perhaps at least pass on a description of the car and driver to the cops?
