get the 7 honda, adjust the brake bias to 5 at the front and 3 at the rear, use the front brake only on those shit corners on valencia and watch that bugger turn in!!
no other bike does it the same!
valencia has 2 crap corners that need brakes while turning in.

To me it feels like Honda 1000rr RM and Ducati RM are the best handlers out of all the bikes you can win in challange section. I'm still at 1.40s in Valencia but i'm not playing like my life depended on it.

BTW I got all the racing modify 1000cc bikes plus yoshi gixxer (sucks imo). Where can i get the 7 honda?

I agree with the Ducati... It seems much more stable than the other litre bikes (points to Apricot Hill time... :D ).

I haven't played around with any brake bias's/tyre compounds etc... I just want to finish the game first. 8)

i think you get it for getting all gold licences or something??
cant remember, i've done the lot, all i remember is the Z1000 RM is the last bike you win on the game. pissed me off really.

red_dave, change the brake bias's it makes it alot easier!!
and also change the suspension, not too hard but.

BMW must've told Polyphony to make BMW bikes stunt-free. 180+hp 1200R does not do wheelies or stoppies how stupid and unrealistic. I guess they are trying to make their bikes not look like a boy racer machine.

out of interest i tested the jap 600's on my fav Lugana Seca (sp).
the bikes were:

Honda CBR600RR
GSX-R 600
Yamaha R6
Kawasaki ZX636

I can't remeber the times off the top of my head but i was utterly insulted with my riding skill when the results where as such:

GSX-R 600
R6
CBR 600RR
Ninja!

But i was not happy with this result so i kept tryign and trying with the Ninja to do better and i just ended up worse. I was surprised on how well the GSXR performed! and teh GSXR 750 is a top bike...

I think an ONLINE version of Gran Turismo 4 and TT so u can race others would b sweet, I think they needed to put in features to mod bikes like the cars on GT4 .. Turboed ZX10R

The trickstar 10 also feels like it's got tyres from 1970 on it. The way it slides around under braking is really weird... ruins it for me.

The honda (7 star or whatever it is) is way too good. seems about 5-6 seconds a lap quicker! it's no fun.

My favorites are the old two strokes. And the 1961 honda racing thing you get when you complete the classic series... that thing is cool.
It's a real shame there's no kwaka two strokes in there. the racing gpz400 is kinda cool though.

Yeah Smek we all find the 7star the EASIEST too...

Lets be honest shall we... (I'll start)

when we 1st got the game the bike we prob were the most comfy with was either one EASY to ride (smooth power etc.) OR the bike we actually OWNED or had reason
Well that was my experience anyway.
BUT as we got more ummm used to the game we could handle the lighter, more powerful, more responsive bikes....
hmmmm..... not unlike real life we are learning the game, our response getting quicker, our brains going into unconcious rather than concious thought.... (time to stop drinking I think)
ANYWHO the point is I think as WE get better the Trackstar 10 will get faster....
Much like the REAL bikes.
And lets face it, isnt the "realism" why we like this game so much?
(and why some X-Box riders are getting old PS2's?)
