Hope all is well with you and the bike. Do what you can to nail the cabbie, but an engine cover and gasket from a wreckers won't be stupidly pricy.

Tanya, it's funny you mention the Cagiva - I was actually looking at it long before I even considered the ZZR600.

I guess I will need to try sitting on a some different makes and models and take it from there.

I'm thinking of declaring next month open season on cabbies, Ya know we all chip in , in each state, hire a big truck and give em some of their own medicine

Oops same here, somehow managed to miss this thread until today (brain's slowly coming around since the flight back, I'll get there eventually)
