This isn't meant to take away what the girls and guys have already done - without them we would still be talking about this at parties
So how do YOU want the calendar to look like?

Just curious as it seems people are coming out of the woodwork with different ideas....

Personally I think it should be their own bikes.....
Sure this is KSRC..... but that doesnt mean every bike needs to be a Kawasaki....
That is just my personal opinion....
I also dont think they should necissarily be posing with their bike, unless that is what they want.... I would like to see some riding shots...

Thats fine for the northeners who are lucky enough to have some good weather at the mo, but for us Vic and poss SA lot it'll be a nightmare.Stereo wrote:.... I would like to see some riding shots...
Mike tryed to do some on a rideout before, only Marranda turned up. Mike got her posing at the bottom of the Spur, but traffic was heavy on that day so couldn't get any decent ones of her riding.
Great idea Eelko, we have looked into it.

Perhaps winter isn't the best time to do it...
Generally you want a calendar late in the year... So having the proofs by Early Nov should see product printed by early Late Nov/Early Dec in time for pre Xmas sales and ready for January '07 when people will actually want to use their new Calendar..
After all it is only June..
Alot of the discussions about who gets what month and stuff is a load of rubbish. You work with your proofs to work out what the end result will be and see what will work.
If you get a great action shot you might make that a photo for a month.. a nice group shot.. there's another photo.. Which I believe Mike agrees with me about as we had this discussion over the weekend. Get the photo's then work out what is going to happen.
I think there will need to be a few more photo shoots over the next few months to get us to where we'd want to be also. So hopefully come Spring we'll get some decent weather and things will fall into place..
Also GP is in September... Which again might be a perfect oportunity for some group and individual shots.

So are we saying scrub the whole Ladies thing and do a KSRC peoples one? ( I am so over the Ladies thing)
Cause if that is what you are thinking then I am in on that as well, I think GP would be perfect and also the fact that we will have many more from interstate here. Also when other states are doing ride days or get togethers send in some pic's that can be played with as well.
So now do we forget about the Ladies Calendar and turn it into KSRC

I don't recal saying that...
But with women turning up to the GP Mike will be able to take some better group shots specifically for the Calendar... Which would include women from other states...

personally, i was never too keen on ladies only.
wasn't against it either.
but i'd love to see a ksrc calendar with kwakkas and ksrc members in general.
group photos from halls gap, supers, gp, etc would be great.
and then the nicest bikes with their owners, male or female or both (can't leave mina out)
an idea could be to have a mike of the month poll, with the winner getting in the calendar.
orrrrrr......
have a competition for best bike in each category.
ie. bests zx636, best zx10, best zx9, best zzr250, etc.
put up a poll in bike pics section, then once ur ready to take photos, announce the winner.
ask for submitions over the next month.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
