06 zx10r first win.??

Akira Yanagawa won the first round of the All Japan Superbike series a few weeks ago..
Is this the 06 ZX10R's first major win.

Whats he doin the weekend of the Qld Aus Superbike round ?. I'm sure Shannon wouldn't mind the company.
