Thanks for the update Janelle, if he starts smoking again after all this well.... lets say it would be silly

Just thinking about Brett wants me to give up the smokes too, it is so hard!

Blimmin heck, the world has definately turned into a bit of a circus of late....

Best wishes to brett, at least they've figured out wtf was wrong. I can sympathise with not knowing wtf was wrong, took a week for surgeons to figure out just what was wrong with Michelle and to give her body the meds to start fixing it.

turns out there was an infection which somehow started a hole in her lower intestine, which caused something (acid maybe?) to leak onto her pancreas and cause an immense quantity of pain (subdued with 6x shots of 20mg of morphene a day at her worst). She's home now, but has about 4 scripts of medication to take to a) kill the infection 100% off, 2) stave off any remaining pain, iii) take away any tummy cramps & nausea. She's going back as an outpatient to get the tummycam done next week to see how the healing is going too.

So yeah, take it easy Brett, it'll take some time for you to get 100% back on your feet once you get things sorted out operation wise.

My brother and I rode up to see him last night. Barrabob was there when we got there too. He is in major need of more movies, but he is in good spirits and bossing the nurses around lol.

I told him in no uncertain terms how unhappy I am with the way he has inconvenienced me by leaving me with nowhere to stay for the race meeting on the 13th.

Oh and if you make too many jokes which make him laugh, which hurts him, he will throw stuff at ya. So take a sheild and fire away.....

Hemi, can you come up with a list of movies he might want? I have a reasonable reange f dvvd's anbd happy to send some his way.

Perhaps best no comedies? Don't want him busting a lung laughin...

Went to visit Brett this morning at prince charles hospital and took some dvds Great news is the garden hoses come out tomorrow Mondayand he is feeling much better while I was there redleader (Jen) visited

During the visit many nurses came and went and Brett has developed a great relationship with them

and the doctors are in fear of another question Argh

While I was there lunch arrived for Brett and a little known secret was revealed Brett does not like GREEN (as the brocoli was quickly despached in to the biohazard waste bin by a perfectly excuted slam dunk

) thats why Tigger is gold i suppose

Brett is expecting to be released wednesday to go home and not soon enough in his opinion.

any way the main thing is that he cannot wait to borrow someones bike for a blast

The reason for the hair cut is something that gosling said for the track days "lose an ounce here lose an ounce there soon youve lost a pound "Bretts a crafty bugger but don't tell him he just does'nt want the pink shirt at the next track day
