That sucks big time...Hopefully the bike was too hard to steal the first time so they won't be back - i reckon they'll try and find an easier bike to nick.

Good luck in fixing it up

Low life pricks. Nothing worse. You can get a product that ponticat mentioned from repco that is a two part powder based thing and it is unreal. To give you an idea if you cut an o-ring, you can use this stuff to re-join it and try as hard as you like- it won't break at that join. I would certainly give it a go.

Paul.

Oh dear not pretty,

Bit of a pisser to move from sunny Penrith to nearer the city and then get the bike attacked..........

Big decisions to go for, if ya haven't reported it to the cops yet smack it up a bit more and go for the insurance, if ya have reported it to the cops, smack it up a bit more and report it to insurance

Dunno what your excess is but it aint gonna be as much as fixing all that damage to original condition, good paint job alone will cost ya

Get ya front discs trued before ya ride it again as well, cus them disc locks don't do ya brakes any favours when they are rammed into your forks when someones tryin to nick it.

All up Dave, go the insurance mate but make sure they sort it well

If they come back, make sure they aren't walking when they leave.

and clain it was self defence.. right Mr Officer?

Thanks everyone... My cousin runs a motorcycle paint and panel in Sydney so i'll go and see him about the repairs...

The bike was parked under my apartment building in our allocated spot. Monica normally parks her car in front but she was at work for the day. Cause the apartments are new and there's only about 5-6 people living there, there's tradies still doing work around the place. I reckon one of them have had a go, or at least tipped of one of their mates and told them how to get in... I'll be making a massive noise to the property managers/developer about it.

I'll keep you all informed on the repair progress...

 old thread guys....

Since this thread was posted.. the bike was then stolen, Dave got paid, he bought an 05? model and then the bike was recovered, Shannons stuffed around and the bike was sold at auction.

Did I miss anything? :D
