well, he is definitely one of those out-there Dave's   check the mailing address on one of the boxes !!!!

Points of interest:

Cam-chain tunnel mod is pretty weird. Normally you would do that on a later head ( eg B1, B2, GpZ 1100 heads, or J series) , if you wanted to fit a later head ( with hy-vo camchain) to an earlier-model bottom end with the roller chain - ( this gives you the benefit of the big-valve head.) He has probably used a later crank as well, but wants to hide it all under z900 engine cases :?

Frame bracing mods - pretty standard really on one of them old shitter frames ( they are actually pretty good when you brace 'em up :D )

Turbo under the seat ???? what a wally, the turbo-lag will be fully tomorrow !!! this is why Kawasaki placed the turbo on the 1984 750 turbo directly under the exhaust outlets - it reduces turbo-lag to an absolute minimum. The setup on old BackVerandah will cook his coit to a crisp

Injectors in the carbies is pretty trick :P , but they need a fuel rail to work properly - this will be hard to hide  like impossible

Paint is all wrong, but you get that  It will probably get lots of ooh-aahs at shows etc, but really, a good Z900 does not need u/side down forks or a monoshock rear, it makes them look pig ugly imho.

If you want to see a good turbo Zed, check out current issue of Two Wheels, for a really clean & tidy 1978 Z1R Turbo, from American Turbo Pak. This is a good lookin' scooter. With the turbo in the right spot  btw this was the very first *production* turbo bike ever made in the history of the world. Still looks good nearly 30 years later *sigh*

cheers
