Zx6RR 2003
Hi, I have a 2003 model zx6rr (the one with the slippery clutch). It has around 120000kms and has been sitting in the garage since October (it was a commute vehicle - I work40kms from home - but I now have a company vehicle. It is pink slipped with a new front tyre but before selling it I was going ...

Re: Cush dR4IVE BEARING
Thanks, but still confused as to why it isn't rough when cruising - it is still spinning from what I can tell?

Cush dR4IVE BEARING
I replaced my cush drive bearing last night and my bike feels a whole lot smoother. The question is, why when the cush drive bearing is rooted did I only feel roughness on take off? I assume from what I can see that the bearing is constantly spinning and spinning at the same speed as the wheel ...

Re: ZX6RR 2003 timing and spark leads
Wow, what a response! well problem sorted. everything was in place but timing was one tooth out - on a car this would have started but ran like a goat but apparently not a bike

Re: ZX6RR 2003 timing and spark leads
And has anyone ever used a timing light on a motorbike? I was thinking this will let me tell if Cyclinder one is fitring correctly and thereby tell me if I have some how reversed the leads around?

I have done this job before no hassles but this time despite having all the timing marks lined up, it wont run; I did crank it over a couple of times manually prior to ...

Re: batteries
I got an AGM battery after three of the wet cell batteries and I reckon they are worlds apart - for some reason all the wet call batteries have lost charge when parked for three or more days (the tests all said I don't have a voltage leak), but the AGM battery can sit for 2 weeks (max I have sat it ...

Re: Just got myself a peice of history
You want a piece of history!? forget the ford!
Only 24 of these being made (handmade), apparently they will only be 1950cc - the one pictures is 2400cc though - with 135hp. And only 35,000 - pounds that is!
