Every part on that bike looks brand new and probably is, what you can do if money is no object.

Re: GPZ1100B2 Grab Rail
Fingers crossed Jacobb, I may have found a Bloke (from a trusted source), with two grab rails, have sent an e-mail and am wait'n for a reply, if good to go I'll get them into the country and we can sought it out later.
My theory on the disappering grab rails is due to the popularity of the "Gear ...

They are a great bike to ride, so smooth and comfortable, they don't make sports bike like that anymore, comfort wise at least.
I rode mine to the VJMC meet at Shell Harbour eairler this year, a little sketchy on bumpy corners so when I got back I fitted a fork brace, haven't really had the chance ...

Re: ZXR750J Clutch Issue
Does it get worse as the engine gets hot? Even if not, after you have taken it for a bit of a spin crack the nipple at the engine leaving the lever alone, if it spits out more than a dribble you have a pressure lock in the system, this is usually traced back to either or both the master cylinder ...

Re: VJMC - 2012 Annual Rally - Report & pics
I had a good look at that bike, very nice and I like them better than the 900R as the engine is there for all to see........

One guy there told me had (at one time) both the 750 and the 1100 A1, the 750 handled better apparently by his reckoning.

Re: VJMC - 2012 Annual Rally - Report & pics
The CX500 cafe belongs to my friend Tom McGarth, he was my ride buddy down to the rally this year, I came on the green GPZ750 which I don't see a pic of here, I guess not worthy.
The green white T500 was mine, sold it to a VJMC member here, he trailered it down most of the way, rode the last 100K ...

Re: High revs after revving engine.
yes I think running lean, it is quite often the case, bike is starving for fuel at low speed so it keeps revs hi to bring the fuel from the intermediate jet, possibly a float level issue or maybe blocked idle jets.

air screw setting ZXR750H1
Hey guys, can anyone tell me how many turns out for the air/mixture screws.
All the manual says is not the muck about with them while balancing the carbs.
thanks.... chris

Re: ZXR750 H1 (1989) Intermittent starter issue?
mmm sounds very odd to me, how did the bike take off without throttle, it should just stall and at worst fall over straight away??
Here's other things I think are a waste, neutral light, indicator light, hi bean light, most times the indicated themselves, handy in heavy traffic but not really ...

Hi mate, glad you got it sorted, eletrics can be a real bastard sometimes, but one post said it, bad earth.
Just a side note, I have bypassed the clutch and side stand kills on my bike, I just find them annoying and unnecessary.
