I still have my 2000 zx6. I just bought a 2013 Z800 and the ZX6 is still my favourite to ride. Just a heads up to those people thinking of getting an exhaust (at a good price) from the USA, specifically California, apparently they have tougher exhaust laws there and they actually have to SPOT WELD the baffles in place as it's illegal to have an exhaust without them.

The Z1000 might be off its head, but the Z800 seems just right in the power dept. Gonna take a while to get used to a motard style in the twisties, but seems pretty much right for commuting.
