Re: Fund raiser.??

I can always do with some more shirts. Are we talking classic black shirts or little button up things? I'd get 2 of the black ones and a Rea one. Some baby shirts too. Only got the one. Probably gonna be overseas at time of ordering though.

Re: 2013 Ninja 650L, reliability.

I still have my 2000 zx6. I just bought a 2013 Z800 and the ZX6 is still my favourite to ride. It currently needs some head gasket replacement, but that is the only major thing in it's 14 year (80 000K) history. I'd say as long as you treat her nice, ride her regularly, get all the servicing done on ...

z800 replacing exhaust

Heya, so got myself a two brother pipe http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopper?preadd=action&key=005-3560406V-B as you do for my z800. Start taking things apart and see some extra crap im not used to seeing (given my other bike still has carbs). I'm assuming the bit that looks a little like a spark ...

Re: Removing DB killers/baffles/silencers from Akrapovic

Just a heads up to those people thinking of getting an exhaust (at a good price) from the USA, specifically California, apparently they have tougher exhaust laws there and they actually have to SPOT WELD the baffles in place as it's illegal to have an exhaust without them.

So hence the reason I ...

Re: KSRC jackets

O certainly not denying the value, more just the budget and the fact the missus complains about the fact that ksrc gear takes up half my wardrobe as it is :P Come to think of it, I do have a shit load of big bulky jackets already, so maybe she has a point. Fleeceys don't take up as much room though.

Re: KSRC jackets

I've got a bunch of fleece hoodies, so would only get one if it has something interesting on the back (or it was an actual zip up jacket, then id get one either way probs). I might be interested in a nitro, but only if the cost comes down to like 70 or something, which probably isn't gonna happen.

Re: WTB: I dont know yet.

The Z1000 might be off its head, but the Z800 seems just right in the power dept. Gonna take a while to get used to a motard style in the twisties, but seems pretty much right for commuting. Now I just have to find a pipe. Pick her up on Thursday. 2013, 19k kms, $10k with 6 month warranty and rego.

Re: WTB: I dont know yet.

Hey Nelso, It's Jason. Not sure if confusing me with Pinchy? The 6 has a wee bit of oil coming out of the top of the headers atm, and 2nd gear likes to pop back down to neutral when the engine is under load. Certainly spending money on it isn't a smart thing. So it will probably sit in the garage ...

WTB: I dont know yet.

So over the last year, the missus has spent 2 or 3k$ on random stuff without telling me. Just comes home and says, 'Hey, Look what I bought!' The tats I could kinda get behind, she still has less than me even if they cost more (can't stand coloured ink). But the family photos were the last straw. I ...
