Re: Ohlins Damper re-valve Sydney?
Yes, I know the parts you mean, I also have them here - there being 3 basic means to achieving a similar result. One of which being epoxy, which I tend to not see as something I want to do any more - I just do not like any glue or otherwise inside oil, and besides the part is not bank-breaking to ...

Re: Ohlins Damper re-valve Sydney?
Hmm, comparing apples with apples? One can fix the ZX Ohlin's SD's very simply and cheaply; but like all work, there is work and then there is work, so are we all quoting for the same work>?

Re: penske compadability
A quality shock is a quality shock for a reason - usually to do with the sum of its parts to how its design works, and of course the amount of spares one can easily buy/lay hands on, so as to keep it keeping on as the miles tick by beneath the tyres....

Re: ZXR750 forks
It is easiest with parts availability these days to just swap caps and add in some purpose shaped/cut plastic spacer, often with proper springs at same time - to make and fit spacer for the OEM cap takes longer IMO..

Re: Suspension help
Nah, you're not. You could buy a shock Gold Valve kit, sure no problemo, generic 40mm piston, easy. But the fork cartridge for the 2007/8 6R is a non-rebuild-able design. If 2005/6, then no problem valve away, although it should be added that 2005 compression pistons offer a similar amount of flow ...

Somehow I have managed to completely cap my 200Gig bandwidth until tomorrow, so no Yahoo access (coz it chews); but KSRC works (!) somehow...

Hmm, a KA803-x should be 0-12mm over stock, so yeah, should be same length or longer...

Re: 99 zx9r shock to a 98 zx7r?
The spring is a little different, the valving too - lengthwise you'll be wanting max (expose groove and no more) and maybe some spacing under the frame too (about 5mm).

I thought about this thread last night in Woolies - interestingly the other way around, with the check-out chick enquiring into bikes and riding them and then fessing to wanting to ride one etc (ad nauseum); so I said "why don't ya" (got to say something, can't be rude hey) and she replies that she ...
