It was a good day for a sad reason, I had held off on previous years because of the huge numbers but when I heard (and was correct) that a lot of planning had gone into this one to help that I went along.

I have been wearing JR Alter-Ego for about 18mths now and love it. BUT.

Don't you love a BUT. Its warm if it has the waterproof liner in it. But if it rains and is warm you feel like being in a sauna. I rode a big ride couple weekends ago with it on with snow at Uralla and Armidale ( story here ...

Mate I am going to Adelaide over that weekend, north is as mentioned boring as bat shit. South is good, Lismore, Casino, Tenterfield, Uralla, down the oxley and so on.

Agreed, the scollop effect is usually through low air pressures and hard braking but that is only part of the cause. Anyone that has ever seen a from that has done the Nullarbor knows what the camber does.

Long highway running and the camber as mentioned kills the sides and makes what you call triangulation.
