Can anyone tell me what rear shock absorber options I have with an 1986 GPX can original shock be rebuilt or is the one off a later model bike that will fit any advice appreciated

Thankyou i was thinking the same because of the vacuum carby set up have you redirected your carby bteather tube straight down sort of so it can act as an over flow for the carby....read this somewhere cheers Denis

Does anyone know if there is a fuel reserve on the GPX 750r fuel light comes on with 10 litres still in the tank haven't tried to run the tank dry or anything to test itmay cause blockages in carburetors etc cheees Denis

Fuel tank reserve
Anyone know if there is a fuel reserve on the 1988 Kawasaki GPX 750r the fuel light comes on when there's about 10 litres left and rhe fuel gauge shows empty haven't pushed the usage much beond that afraid of fuel blockage with crap in carby's etc cheers Denis

I don't know how i missed that maybe because it wasn't the same as the other two but all good now many thanks for your good advice and patience now just waiting on the cooler pipe to be repaired thankyou again much appreciated Denis

i'm trying to remove the cooler pipe at the back of the motor there's a leak from the far left o ring but i can't quite get the pipe out so have removed the alternator on the right hand side and trying to remove the starter motor which is on the left side have removed the two bolts that hold the ...

I finally got my front brakes worked out i ditched the idea of the race setup brake lines didn't fit went to standard set up with braided lines bleeding the brakes . tried reverse bleeding that didn't work ended up placing an old brake pad in the caliper using a G clamp to force or hold the pistons ...

Great reading i am also in the process getting an 89 GPX 750 up and going just started so far rebuild kits in all master cylinders ,calipers and clutch slave cylinder having replaced the front brake hoses with braided racing set up ( both hoses straight out of the master cylinder ) nightmare getting ...
