Re: New rider rear wheel punctured on highway doing 110
Gotta admit it's left me a little bit nervy when hitting the highway now. Even though it looks fine I'm worried the front will go. Has anyone had front go out at speed? Whats the best thing to do if front goes, can you save it or will you always end up on the road?

All worked out, I contacted the seller they still had it in their pile of bits.

Re: Ninja 250R seat cowl
I just bought some from bunnings for the same thing. A pack of 4 was around $5. I'll have to dig up the pack to give exact size but I think it was the only 1/2 centre diameter they sold.

Seat cowl bracket ninja250/08 - part number? How to find?
Just picked up a seat cowl off gumtree, but have realised it is missing the bracket to lock it into passenger seat. Can anyone steer me toward a part number or any idea if I could make one?
I've been searching, thought it would be easy part to find but having no love.
Thanks

Re: New rider rear wheel punctured on highway doing 110
I actually popped into Aldo and bought a nice looking kit reduced for $13 today.
Thing is I could see no obvious puncture so how could I fix it with kit?

New rider rear wheel punctured on highway doing 110
Hi group,
I think this is only my third post I'm pretty new here.
I've only just picked up my first bike a ninja 250, 2008.
I've has it about a month or so, sat Qride training for one day and started riding everywhere. I love my new ride.
Yesterday I was heading out for my first real long ride ...

Re: Hi new owner from Brisbane
Thanks Glenn, pleasure to be here :)
Just a quick question if anyone can help (didn't want to start a new thread for a small Q)
Twice I've jumped off my bike and turned ignitition off and I've noticed what sounds like a fan towards the front of the bike, is this normal? It's not the fuel pressure ...

Hi new owner from Brisbane
Hi lads and ladies,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum before I go poking my nose around.
New owner of Ninj 2008, picked it up off gumtree today for a nice price.
I'm a virgin rider and not familiar with any bikes. On the run up from the goldcoast to bris the bike felt great handled ...
