Re: 24,000k service questions..
OK guys, an update. I am EXTREMELY happy with Glen and the great service he offered last month. My Rex is running as good as new and you're correct in saying he is honest and does great work. Importantly, there are no scuffs, scratches or dents on my baby. I couldn't be happier! He explained ...

Re: Why we hate bike dealers.....Bikebiz.
I've heard a lot of horror stories about team mofo. Especially with tire changes.
Steer clear
Interesting, cause I thought I'd give them an opportunity as I needed tyres on my Triumph. I explained my predicament with another dealer, and they said the rims would be returned to me unmarked...WRONG ...

Re: Why we hate bike dealers.....Bikebiz.
Hey Glen, hope you're well. I bought my Rex from Bikebiz at Granville and although I believe I did get a good deal at the time, let me share my experience thereafter. They told me they did a full service on the bike, it had only 8,000 k's so I wasn't too worried...until I got home and realised the ...

Re: 24,000k service questions..
Booked in for next Tuesday. He's going to check my valves as well as a new rear tyre. He sounds like a good guy. BTW, I called Bikebiz again, still no response. WTF is up with those people. Are they that busy?

Re: 24,000k service questions..
I know this is an old thread, has anyone used Allfixed lately? My ZRX is due for a major service and I need some guidance on who I should use. FWIW, I called Bikebiz, and they said they'd call me back...no call yet. I spoke with Trooper Lu in Moorebank but they were over $800..ouch! Any comments ...

Re: ZRX Tyres
Just done about 2000k's on Pirelli Angel ST's and they are excellent. Definitely better than the original Bridgestones that were fitted on the bike. Ask me again in 10,000 k's.

Passenger footpegs
Guys, the wife has been complaining about 'buzzing' through the rear pegs. I suggested she wears thicker socks, to no avail..can anyone recommend rubber mounted pegs to reduce vibration?

Re: but ache
No problem, I was anxious to sort the seat out because I'm going on a road trip to Coffs Harbour next weekend. I've changed out the risers which have brought the bars closer. I've had to stuff some foam under my sheepskin pad for the time being...yeah I know...but it works. At least now I know for ...

G'day Nelso, new guy here. Have'nt introduced myself yet but 48 years young, live in Sydney and have owned a mint 2008 ZRX 1200r for a couple of weeks now. I am happy with the bike (except for the seat). I have added risers which have brought the handlebars closer but find the angle of the seat has ...
