Re: ZRX1200 DAEG

Thanks for the inputs guys

Seriously I did get 12000kms from my PP's; having said that I was on the canvas for last 100kms trying to get into a town... Yes PPs are harder to get but seems Singapore still has stock. I run the not so popular 190/50 profile as I prefer a slightly wider center

I don't ...

Re: ZRX1200 DAEG

Those are the tyres I had a problem with. I had to raise the pressure up to 41 rear and 36 front. I loved them as they were so light but am now using Pilot Power II's.

Tks for the tip, will try it and see if any difference; so u think PPII are better? cornering grip still ok? managed to get ...

MKY are you really happy with these shocks? Do they have a Nitrogen reservoir like the OEM KYB?

Re: ZRX1200 DAEG

Hi Guys

Took the beast for a ride today, after checking all the bolts torque rating, installed fork brace, and it seems better. No much wallowing around 180km/h.. but with our roads here so bloody uneven, still want to install a damper. Been chatting with Greg Couch and hopefully can install his ...

Re: ZRX1200 DAEG

Thanks Guys will check and re torque everything; I installed today a fork brace from a US manufacturer so hope that helps as well; one thing I had to remove the fork(s) seal protectors. What could I use instead?

Re: ZRX steering damper mounting

Thanks Nelso
Yes been chatting with Greg, but he has reservation about my DAEG as he has no templates to work with of course. The Tealdo's design is great but we noticed he needs to use the existing radiator mounting points for the frame bracket; my mounting points are obscured by the radiator ...

Re: ZRX steering damper mounting

Re applied to ZRXOA site and got in this time after explaining why I was in Malaysia lol.. man they sure have a lot of info and stuff for the ZRX in that site

That bracket above is made by a member called Toleado, and it will fit either an Ohlins or Suzuki type damper. For me I would prefer the old ...

Re: ZRX steering damper mounting

Tks Nelso

Yes that looks good; I tried to register on that website and they rejected the application... WTH I sent them an email asking for the reason, still waiting for a reply :(

Thanks :D

ZRX steering damper mounting

Hi Guys

Looked at the forum and don't really want to re invent the wheel here; has any1 been successful installing any brand brand of steering damper including bracket? nothing seems to be available anymore except the Scott's version at USD600+

Please no smart comment about learning how to ride ...
