On paper it makes more hp than the Zx6. Weight wise I think it's about the same as the thou, but it has a bigger tank than the thou= longer range. Considering I live in Darwin and the next "city" is 3hrs south, it would be nice to have a longer range

Long story short guys. I'm looking at selling my zx6 and getting something upright and naked. What are your thoughts on the z800? I've ridden a z1000 but found it felt a bit big and top heavy for me. May be just that I wasn't used to it, but I don't know

You can get a version that you can bolt down. I wouldn't take that chance mate, I can see it sliding around and ending in tears. Either that or use u-bolts to clamp the arms to the trailer, that way you can still take it off.

Also, is it possible to still get those fabric ones from Aldi?

I just use a front tie down with minimal compression and the rear tyre down. You really need those anchor points close to the rear wheel though mate. From memory the instructions say to have the mounting points 80cm- 1m apart max and slightly forward of the rear axle. All i did was put the bike one ...
