Go online and check for Sport Rider magazine or Cycle World. They publish their best set up for all the bikes they test. It's as good a starting pint as any. My 14r was a bit soft out of the box. Probably a bit stiff now for the potholed tracks that masquerade as roads here, but I prefer it harder ...

Does not fit. I have both cowls and the original one is a different shape where it meets the seat

There is an issue with the ZX14r and traction control when the front sprocket is changed.
Apparently the traction control sensors have difficulty with the different rotation speed which manifests in throttle hesitation. The good news is it is reversible by simply going back to the old sprocket.

Hey I think there were two guys shooting pics ( I hope they were photos and not radar) on the Old Road on Sunday near the Gosford industrial park end, in the third corner or so headed south after the long straight uphill.
