Update on my track bike. I have changed the frame for a 2003 F frame and the forks for ZX6R 2010 Showa Big Piston forks. I have also put on Magnesium wheels.
Will go to the track next month to see if I get rid of the problems I have with the front tucking under me at max lean ( I have crashed 5 ...

I have put a ZX6R 2010 front en on a ZX9RF frame.
I had to modify the stering stem but other than dat it was easy peasy.

The track ZX9 has a ZX10 swingarm, Ohlins rear damper, KAIS ( english suspension company ) modifyed fork, 998 CP pistons, Keihin FCR 39m carbs, Ported head, std cams ( ?? :) ) , z1000 transmission, zx10r slipper clutch ( a PAIN in the ASS to modify to fit... dont ask :) ). I also have a "street" ZX9 and a Hayabusa ( the GS1000S is my brothers ). And I have just bought myself a Z1R but its still on its way from the states ...

You *cannot* fit an early Z900 / Z1000 motor into the z650/z750 frame. You can however fit the later GpZ1100 or Z1000J motors into the smaller frames. The reason is that the early 900s and thou's had the kickstart casting at the rear of the cases, the later 1000's and 1100's don't, and thus can ...
