Hi all
Here is a photo of the Datatool grips ( hope i up loaded the photo right)

They look easy to use with just a slide switch and compact with no extra control box to place some where

Thanks for all the info on heated grips will look at the oxford grips

Been looking for heated grips dose any one have or know about the datatool heated grips.

Hi All
Thanks for all that info, I think i will take the tank off and fill it with water heat up the bracket the put some metho and dry with compress air, then flush out with some fuel.
I think it was bent in the first place becouse it had been drop before i bought it, only found out after taking ...

Need a safe way to heat up a bracket on fuel tank

Hi all
Would like some advice on heating up a farring bracket on my fuel tank. The bike is a zzr 600 1994 need to heat up the farring bracket to make it easy to bend back into shap. the bracket is on the left side near the fuel tap.
How would I go about this without blowing my self up.

The resistance of a coil oringal coil was 3.1 the resistance of the other coils was 3.7
The resistance of the zx6 coils measured at 3.1 so all good
Wired up the coils it took the zzr600 a bit to start the frist time put it down to fuel and flat battery
Now it start well every time, seems to run ...

For the 600E you can use any of these ... and possibly some others, but these are known to work.

GSX-R 600-750-1000-1300, 1999-2004

ZX-9R, 1998-2003

ZX-12R, all years

ZX-10R, 2004~2007

ZX-6R & 636

I have come back to riding after a spell of 20 years.
I would like some help.
I have bought a 1993 zzr 600 e when doing some maintance on the bike and have found that there are two different sets of coils.
one is the original one and the other one looks like it is from a ...
