Re: Gotta love the zx9r (pics)
What the????...real 9 riders don't go to flower shows on a Sunday, after mass (contrition for taking his name in vain whilst trying to pull the bouncing beast up at the end of front straight at Qld Raceway; then giving thanks to my bike and surviving the track day) we wash the track grime off the ...

Re: A bloody good day
Cool, I also hit the track yesterday on my ZX9.
The modern 600's are pretty bloody good track weapons for us mere mortals.
Nearly all the bikes that got binned yesterday at QR (at least 6 of them) were 1000cc Blades, Gixxers and R1's. All that power and speed is fun but you have to know how to pull ...

Re: Buying parts from USA
Just tried Bikebandit.com for rear zx9 fender price US$108 plus $130 freight. I thought that that was ok Teamoto quoted me $237 plus wait for delivery from Japan.
Today Bikebandit sent me an email asking for another US$53 extra for freight..WTF
Gonna see how much Partshark is going to ...

Re: Friggin QLD traffic police
i agree with RichB what was he going to say to you or try and pin you for if he couldn't see the rear hugger??? god knows he would have come up with some BS!
He might have cautioned him just like he did... right or wrong , without a fine, it does happen ;)
There is an easy solution to ...

Re: Friggin QLD traffic police
No I am not arguing about the fact that the hugger/fender wasn't kosher rather the fact that Snr. Constable Wilkins did a U-turn to come after me without any provocation other than I was riding my motorbike beyond a 5 degree lean angle.
I enjoy riding up there without going over the limit and this ...

Got pulled over up on Mt. Glorious this morning because the bike cop didn't like the way my bike was cranked over in a corner in a 70kph zone when I was doing 70kph.
He stated because of my age demographic (40-45yrs) I am more likely to be in an accident hence I would get a $100 fine and not a ...

Re: OS helmets
Makes you wonder, I can't wear my Suomy Vandal which has US DoT and British DoT standards sticker for a trackday at Qld Raceway but some $59 Chinese made p.o.s Nitro brand with an AS1628 is OK ?????

Re: Another ebay leathers question.
I have reservations about cheap leathers, I bought a MZR 1-pc suit in Malaysia. Fitted nice I looked the part with speed hump and all.
The true test came when I had a 120kph low side at the track in Dubai and blew out the arse and right sleave. I had them properly repaired at Highside leathers in ...
