Need a bit of info if anyone would like to comment, My 86 GPZ 750 runs well and has a heap of grunt and will rev through the range smoothly and with a heap of pull, it apparently has had a new set of barrells and pistons put on it not so long ago but at idle it rattles and sounds sloppy ...

I have just used the KBS tank kit and it seems to work very well, I was also talking to a mate about it and he said he used some in a tank that sprung a leak in the NT then rode it back to Perth without issue. As long as you do all the cleaning and preparation properly it works well.

Gday all, and thanks for your help,
I ended up using devcon on the larger holes on the inner seam and lined the tank using the KBS Motorbike tank kit, it appears to have worked very well but only time will tell, I aslo picked a tank with a couple of dents in it through findpart.com locally for $50 ...
