hmmm, enamel hein? not too sure about it, read some articles just now and apparently POWDERCOAT is supposed to work better...
anyone has tried any one of them? enamel or powdercoat???

Painting Brake Rotors?

So my bike got rained down a bit and have noticed the centre of brake rotors are now showing a slight bit of rust marks. My Kawa was in for service/upgrades at Flywheels on tuesday and yesterday when i went to pick it up Ron said i could paint the centre of the brake discs???
Anyone knows WHAT kind ...

I have actualy called Flywheels this morning and asked them which kind of oil comes as default on a brand new kawa, the mech said - "all new bikes come with mineral oil" - than he also said it is rider's choice of oil after 1000kms, full synthetic or semi! :kuda:

... so since i've read the article i've been thinking of taking my "baby" to a race track :P The only one i found for hire is WAKEFIELD ( about 2hrs from CDB?). Is there another option? I mean a lil closer to the Eastern Subs?

the article (link by olcoop) recommends NO synthetic oil until the first 1,000kms
It actualy recommends to use 10w 40 petroleum oil on your first change @ 30 or 40 kms ( since the bike could have come with synthetic by default, he rckons first oil change should happen sooner than we'd expect at ...
