Yummy Blue colour. Well done on the ride mate. I agree with the rest, The 6 is a well sorted bike and I think a damper would be unecessary unless you started to play with the suspesion settings and ride heights. Go for a tank protector. I got some thick carbon fibre look alike adhesive paper and cut it out to the shape of the tank where my jacket rubs. Protects alot better then a normal tank pad, looks real trick and cost me $20 all up and a few hours worth of careful work.

Welcome mate,
Had mine for 4000kms now and the dampner is not nessesary, if your rcing then yeah probably look at getting one.
When you pick it up, just ask for a tank protector for free. I did...if they don't give you something worth 15 bucks after spending 15k then they are not worth dealing with!

I have the 05 ZX6R
I'd def recommend the Geelong Carbon Craft tank protector! Looks sweet and provides awesome protection to the tank!
A steering damper is a nice to have, I have done 11000km without one and now and then I think damn i should get one, i have had a couple of almost tank slapper offs, but that being said, you will get used to its nature and then adjust your riding style to suit!
They go hard my friend! So be careful!

like it!
Steering damper is a great investment, that is the first thing I would buy , apart from protective colothing of course...
I had much more confidence on my bike since putting it on.....but hey , I have a bigger heavier bike??
