God, I Love Living Near The Mountains!

Postby Damon Z1000 » Mon Nov 14, 2005 6:41 pm

Got home from work, went for a swim, had some dinner, 6.30pm daylight, what now????????

Farkin oath, after yesterdays dilemas, out came the '9, on went the leathers and off to Springwood I went.

Don't know what came over me but I spanked it's arse over there, went up and down the twisties like never before, stopped to compose myself and wipe the smile off me face and then FARK IT........do it a few more times

Then on the way home, took it to my limit as the 'fark this is gettin a bit silly' kicked in and then gradually eased off as I came back down to civilisation.

A few of us have said this before me thinks... Ya Gotta Luv The '9

Roll on my next burst of adrenalin......he he he

I love my bike

LOL I did the same sort of thing today around 1:30 - working from home, beautiful day, decided I didn't want to be inside anymore, so a lap of the OPH was in order :D

haha don’t ya just love those sweet days when ya can see every stone, bird, car - whatever and it seems just fine and no matter what you do you are in complete unison with it. Afterwards I can relive it and it seems so slow in comparison. Love those days. 8)

I live for this, and love ridin anytime.
Good stuff and thanks for reminding me what it is all about.

i took my Zx9 for a fang on friday morn before work, first time thru glorious/nebo on the pilot powers, and damn it was good!!! So much grip, never gone thru there so fast...sanity had to prevail and i slowed down as i reached The Gap.

But now the bike is sold and the new owner comes to collect it this sunday, i hope he knows what hes in for!!

I'll have to get used to the ZX6R, cos its all i've got left...

I had a similar experience once in a new industrial area on a sunday. Wide smooth roads, no traffic, no buildings or concealed driveways.ie public racetrack. i had a lot of fun doing the troy corser sideways thing coming out of the corners.
