To get at the plugs, you need to remove the seats, tank, airbox and coils, in that order; about 15-16 bolts and 20 minutes' work, all up.
You might have a coil which is verfucked.

Is it running rich (i.e. carbon fouling the plugs) or are they getting oiled up?
Generally taking the tank off, unplugging the coils (and perhaps unbolting the coils)

If it keeps doing it, then I'd be doing more than just cleaning the plugs each time. Ring the dealer again, tell him you still have a problem and see if you can come to some arrangement with the monies already paid.

OH NO!!! not good to hear man.... hope you get it sorted ASAP!! these mechanical gremlins can be a pain in the ______

4 possible causes
1. The air filter is clogged causing a rich mixture
2. The carbs need adjusting
3. You're using Shell Optimax
4. You have oil getting into mix (rings, gasket, oil seal etc)

i believe it's an EFI for start... which means no carb's..
I'd prob suspect a dud coil.

no idea mate, never had to replace them.
But having said that it could even be an electrical wiring problem.. It only take a small earthing type issue to cause something that sparks to not work.. Fingers crossed, but i'd say you'll need to get it to someone who will go right over it... Take it for a run and check it..
Rossi is prob the man, give him a PM, and see what he can do to assist you. He can prob tell you a few things to try.
Where abouts do you live Alco?

Sat Nov 12, 2005 12:26 pm
haha roflmao it wont fix itself, I go for a new set of plugs everyservice there worth 20 bucks a set and may as well chuck them in the bin.
And i also give the air filter a good clean out while i am in there.
take it back and say it isnt fixed because it isnt and get them to have another go, dont think they will find anything new.

The plugs could be fouling because they aren't discharging correctly and producing a clean burn.
