how far can she go?

well, I changed the oil/filter (found out why the front fairing joint keeps coming loose: there's no bolt! musta lost it somewhere between here and there)
I also tightened the chain (yet again... another cotter pin, only like another 200km's since the last one!!! yep, gunna invest in one of those "R" clips  )

ANYWAY.... going from the "scale" on the adjusting bolts or whatever you wunna reference: How far back can I take the rear tyre before i MUST buy a new chain/sprocket set?
Cuz atm, I feel like I'm riding a dragster around!! Okay, not that bad, but damn I got a longer wheelbase now (owner before me had a 190 rear tyre, so he cut the chain guard to fit it, and this is the first time that the tyre is noticable PAST that cut!)
any reccommendations?

Makes it harder to wheelie huh marty!
Should be able to go all the way on the adjuster, can't see why not but when are you buying the new chain/sprocket set?

Yeah - you should be able to go all the way.
Whether you should go all the way is a different story though, and depends on where it started.
If the chain's stretched enough that you can pull it off the rear sprocket then get it replaced. ie when looking at the sprocket from the left side of the bike try to pull the chain off the sprocket at the 3 o'clock position.

yeah, i've got tight and loose spots, so it will come off the abck of the sprocket in some places....
it has moved about 2-3cm since being installed (going from the chain guard as a scale)
i know i need a new set, but no time for a few weeks....
but only doing commuting atm, well, and a few real rides....
